TechFest 2012 volunteers (Over 16 years of age please)

In addition to the on-going TechFest Core Planning Committee, volunteers are required for program execution in three phases: Pre-Event, Direct Event Support, and Post-Event.  All positions are important to assure a smooth running, safe and professional quality event for our attendees and guests.  The following is a list of positions by project phase.  A short description of the duties for each position follows below.   Your volunteer efforts will help assure that TechFest 2012 is successful.

The process for volunteering includes registering for a free ticket for the task, day, time.  A ticket will be printed and sent to your e-mail address.

All volunteers are requested to complete a Post Project Review (PPR) Report.  PPR Reports are REQUIRED for PMI Members who desire Letters of Participation.  All volunteers who complete their commitments and a PPR will receive Certificated of Participation from the Affiliate Societies Council.  Since each organization has its own criteria, recipients are responsible to coordinate with their “home society” to determine eligibility for community service “points” or “units”.

In previous years many PMI members have volunteered for two or three 2-hour shifts.
